CARMAGEDDON:

Carmageddon is the first of a series of graphically violent driving-oriented video
games produced by Stainless Games, published by Interplay and SCi.

In Carmageddon, the player races a vehicle
against a number of other computer controlled competitors in various settings, including city, mine and industrial
areas. The player has a certain amount of time to complete each race, but more time may be gained by collecting bonuses,
damaging the competitors' cars or by running over pedestrians.
Races are completed by either completing the course
as one would a normal racing game, "wasting" (wrecking) all other race cars, or running over all pedestrians
on the level before anyone else.
The game was notable for its realistic and ground-breaking physics and for its
in-game movie making features. It was also one of the earliest examples of sandbox 3D driving games, and may have
influenced other later games including Driver and the Grand Theft Auto series.

resolution is 640x480. Cutscene Videos are fully working. CD-check has been compromised. The game is - of course - the
uncensored US release.

Known Issues:
After completing a race the main menu background on the
bottom and top of the screen starts to flicker - this is a minor graphics bug and does not affect gameplay at all!

CARMAGEDDON 2
CARPOCALYPSE NOW:

Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now is the sequel to the computer game Carmageddon,
released on November 30, 1998.

Carmageddon II was one of the few racing games at the time to feature
deformable models on its cars, making for more realistic dents and crashes. In fact, the player's car can even be bent
in half, leaving the player to drive with only the front wheels on the ground. The car can also be sheared in half,
causing retirement from the race if the damage is not repaired before the vehicle touches the ground.
As with
Carmageddon, there are 3 ways to finish most levels:
Complete the race, passing every checkpoint before the time
runs out
Destroy all the opponents
Kill every zombie/pedestrian in the level
As the player progresses
through the game, sets of levels are gradually unlocked (10 in total), each consisting of 3 standard "Race, Wreck,
or Wreak havoc among the zombie/pedestrian hordes/populace" levels, followed by a mission. Each mission has
specific tasks that must be completed before unlocking the next set.
The time limit in the game is generous, and
the player can kill pedestrians, crash into opponents, or do tricks to gain time as well.

This is a Cider
port, so it should work flawlessly on any Intel Mac with OSX 10.4 - 10.6.

CARMAGEDDON TDR 2000:

Carmageddon: Total Destruction Racing 2000, more commonly known as Carmageddon TDR 2000, is an action-racing-vehicular
combat video game. The sequel to Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now, it was developed by Torus Games and released in the
United Kingdom on September 1, 2000, and on December 14 in North America.
The title is a homage to an inspiration
for the Carmageddon series, Death Race 2000. As with the other games in the series, one of the most controversial
aspects was that pedestrians could be killed by immolation, or by graphic collisions that could include dismemberment.
Versions of the game in some countries replaced the human pedestrians with zombies (actually only changing the red blood
to green slime), but patches were circulated on the internet that reverted the game to its original state.
During
development of TDR 2000, SCi hired Tozzer.com to create an online comic based on the Carmageddon video game.

Notes:
Set resolution is 1024x768. Cutscene Videos are fully working. Multiplayer issues have been fixed.
CD-check has been compromised. The game is - of course - the uncensored US release. The Nosebleed Pack has been
installed.

Should you get a display error on startup downlod this file and place it in the Carmageddon TDR
2000 game folder where the other gamefiles are located - it's inside the application package - do a search if you can't
find it. Overwrite the old file when asked!

If you're running OS X 10.7.5 or later you will have to upgrade
to the latest Wineskin version manually in order to be able to play the game.

To do so simply unzip and
install the included Wineskin-2.5.9.app-Installer and then hold down the option key while launching the downloaded port
- this will bring up ther Wineskin config dialog - next navigate to "Advanced"->"Tools" and click
the Update Wrapper button. 

You should now be able to run the port again.
